What sets us apart from other Children’s Homes is that we take responsibility for the long-term future of our children: We want to enable our children to reach their full potential and believe that a high quality of education is of the utmost importance to achieve this. We do not believe that we should put our children through the trauma of being abandoned once again when they reach the age of eighteen: we feel that our children should truly be treated as “Our Children”, meaning that we will provide for them until such time that they are independent and after that still offer the support that would be provided from loving parents.
With this in mind we are establishing an educational trust fund for our children to provide for the best schooling and tertiary education available.
The needs of our children are special when it comes to education. Quite understandably most of the older children have difficulties in the academic and social spheres because of negligent parenting and trauma experienced in their past.
